About Ahava Jewelry Designs

Ahava Jewelry Designs began in 2007 because I wanted to have a way to GIVE more to my church family and to those in need. AHAVA is a Hebrew word for love - the kind which gives without expecting any return. It's the love God has for humanity, that families have for each other, that the spirit of giving is all about. I am blessed to be able to create - a gift of the Creator, and I hope you enjoy these designs knowing that after expenses, all earnings are donated in love!

Payment

AJD accepts PayPal only for credit. It's simple to get an account and you can use it to process your credit card payment. I take USPS money orders, ONLY. Checks have to clear before I send anything out. PLEASE! Make USPS money orders and checks out to Carolyn Gibbs and include the address where you want your item mailed.

Shipping:

I try to ship by UPS or USPS (for domestic addresses) immediately. If there is a delay, I'll let you know. I ship internationally via UPS. Customs fees are buyer's responsibility. I ship to addresses provided on PayPal payments. If you need an item shipped somewhere other than your PayPal address, or to a gift location, please be sure to edit your shipping address in PayPal when you send payment. Also, please send me a message alerting me that the order is being shipped to a different address. Your order will be shipped inside bubble wrap that is inside a mailer. If you order multiple items, I will combine shipping and charge according to the total weight. Please wait for an invoice so I can combine the shipping charges.

Shipping cost:

USA: US $5.00 for shipping and handling.

Refunds and Exchanges:

All items are eligible for return or exchange within 14 days of the shipping date. Shipping fees will not be refunded. Please notify me by email when you would like to send a return. I will then issue a refund or exchange after receiving the package. You may return the item within 14 days of shipping for refund, less shipping and handling. The item must be in the original condition as when you received it, not worn or altered.

Custom Work:

Of course I do! Custom and wholesale orders are welcomed. Please send an email to me if you have a request. Custom items cannot be returned for credit.

Allergens/Environment:

If you've got super sensitive ears, surgical stainless steel, sterling silver, and gold plate are currently available for substitute ear wires. If another wire material is needed, I will try to find the substitute. Inquire before purchasing please! I create in a non-smoking but kitty friendly home. I do use recycled items such as card board, envelopes, tissue paper and bubble wrap. Please specify upon checkout if you would prefer to receive your item(s) in non-recycled packaging.

Ahava Jewelry Designs does book home parties, and hostesses do get free jewelry! Contact me for details. Thank you!

Technical:

This site is run on a symmetric-multithreaded Intel x86 system running Linux 3.x.x. The webserver is Apache 2.2.x. The eCommerce content management system is written in PHP 5.4.x and uses a MySQL 5.5.x database backend.
